1. Provider
CodexFan is provided by EGEROBOT OTOMASYON MÜH. PRJ. DAN. SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., İzmir, Türkiye.
2. What CodexFan is
CodexFan is a platform where authors publish their books chapter by chapter and build a readership, and where readers read, follow authors, join fan memberships, talk about books in rooms and clubs, and take part in events such as live readings and signing days. CodexFan is not a dating service.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
- Authors may publish under a pen name. Authors who receive earnings must verify their legal identity; this information is kept sealed and is never shown to readers.
4. Reading and purchases
- Each author decides how a chapter opens: free, with coins, free after a waiting time, or first for fan members. You always see the option before you tap.
- Coins, platform memberships and other purchases in the apps are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms. Card payments on the website are not offered.
- Chapters and e-books you unlock or buy are licensed to you for personal reading. They may not be copied, shared, resold or redistributed. Offline copies are encrypted for your device.
- Fan memberships give the perks of the tier you choose for as long as the membership is active.
5. Authors and publishers
- Authors keep the copyright in their works. By publishing on CodexFan, an author grants us the non-exclusive right to host, display and deliver that content on the platform, within the access options the author chooses, for as long as it is published.
- Authors are responsible for holding the rights to everything they publish, including covers, quotes and translations.
- Any further rights (for example translation or audio editions) are granted only through a separate contract in which each right is listed on its own.
- A publisher account acts for an author only within the scopes the author accepted and signed.
6. Content and conduct
Everything you post must follow our Community Guidelines. We may remove content and restrict or close accounts that break these terms or the law. Anyone can report a copyright infringement through our notice form; every decision comes with its reasons.
7. Events and giveaways
Events are organised by the authors or venues announced on the event page. Giveaways are run by the platform with the required permits, under the rules shown on each giveaway; the draw can be checked by anyone.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions bought in the apps are cancelled in App Store or Google Play subscription management and end at the close of the current billing period. Refunds are explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Liability and changes
Our liability is set out in our Disclaimer of Liability. We may update the platform and these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country remain unaffected.
