EGEROBOT ("Controller") processes your personal data on CodexFan in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. This notice explains what we process, why, and the rights you have.
Data we process
Account data (email, display name or pen name, date of birth), reading data (library, reading position, unlocked chapters), community content (comments, reviews, posts, room and club messages), purchase references, device and usage data, and — only for authors receiving earnings — identity and payout data kept in a sealed vault.
Purposes and lawful basis (Art. 6)
- Providing reading, publishing, fan memberships, events and community features — performance of a contract.
- Author statements, tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
- Safety, moderation, fraud prevention and service improvement — legitimate interests.
- Marketing emails and optional notifications — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased, except records we must keep by law for the statutory period.
Your rights (Art. 15–22)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You can export your data from the app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
