As data controller, EGEROBOT, established in Türkiye, informs you as follows about the processing of your personal data on the CodexFan platform, under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.
Data processed
Identity and contact data (name, pen name, email address, date of birth), account and profile data, reading and community data (library, reading position, comments, reviews, posts, room and club messages, event registrations), purchase records, device and usage data and, for authors receiving earnings only, the identity and payout data kept in a sealed vault (legal name, address, national ID or tax number, payout account, identity document).
Purposes
Providing the reading, publishing, fan-membership, event and community services; sending the notifications and emails you consented to; safety, moderation and handling copyright notices; preparing author statements; meeting tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
Legal grounds and method of collection
Your data is collected electronically through the website, the web app and the mobile apps, on the grounds of the performance of a contract, legal obligations, our legitimate interests and, for optional marketing messages, your explicit consent (Article 5).
Transfers
Data may be transferred, within the limits required, to our hosting, email, push-notification and payment-store service providers (some located abroad, under Articles 8 and 9), to a publisher only within the scopes an author signed, and to authorised public authorities where the law requires.
Your rights
Under Article 11 you may learn whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties it is transferred to; request correction or deletion; object to a result arising against you solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
