CodexFan protects the data of readers and authors, and the works authors trust us with, using industry-standard encryption and access control.
Our principles
- All communication between the apps and our servers runs over encrypted (TLS) channels.
- Sign-in credentials and access keys are kept in the device's Keychain / Secure Enclave, and API requests are authorised with tokens.
- Authors' legal identity data is sealed in a separate, encrypted vault that the reader-facing service cannot read; only authorised payment and compliance staff can open it.
- Purchased and offline chapters are delivered as packages encrypted for your device.
- Our infrastructure is protected by firewalls and continuous monitoring, and access is limited to the people who need it.
